Thai Lion Air Celebrates Inaugural Flights to Okinawa (via Kaohsiung)

21 January 2025 - Thai Lion Air celebrated the inaugural arrivals of its first flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Kaohsiung and Okinawa (via Kaohsiung), marking the airline’s expansion into two cities which most cherished destinations.

Operating four flights weekly, these new routes were introduced with great enthusiasm, reinforcing Thai Lion Air’s commitment to connecting travelers with the vibrant heart of Asia.

The inaugural flight to Okinawa (via Kaohsiung) was warmly welcomed at Naha Airport, where passengers were treated to an assortment of local gifts, showcasing the region’s rich cultural. And the event was graced by representatives from Okinawa Prefecture, Okinawa Tourism and Convention Bureau (OCVB), Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports, and Naha Airport.
